So here it is, the thread for all the football aficionados among us.(and YES I do mean Soccer!)

So any footy related banter, tomfoolery, thoughts, opinions and impressions from any would be Pep Guardiolas (or David Moyes at the other end of the scale ) are all welcome nay encouraged here.

Lets try to keep the footy talk up and the droning piffle down but most of all lets give somewhere for those who secretly harbour affection for our beloved sport (I'm looking at you Robbie) a place where they feel welcome, even if they only post random gifs.

Just turned the TV over to find Man U 2-0 down  

 United!

Overall it was a bad match, but ManU played horrible, way worse than Olimpiakos, and the Greeks were meh at best.

Watched the last 15 minutes and united looked dreadful in every sense. Without an away goal they have quite the hill to climb.

Can't believe my eyes as my hometown team, Real Valladolid, defeats F.C Barcelona 1-0. Those three points and the moral injection they mean can help Valladolid to avoid demotion this year. We'll see.

Ozil being out for a few weeks is probably a blessing in disguise for the Arse, with how he has played recently.

You're spanish? What do you think of La Liga in comparison to the premier league? A lot of people say the PL is the best league in the world but personally i prefer to watch futbol espanol

Yeah this is probably one tournament too far for Spain.
